Recipe: It's Tea Thyme!

And by Tea Thyme I mean "booze," goddamn it!   This recipe is modified from Katy Casey's recipe found here.

Tea Thyme

Chapter One
12 ounces vodka
1 English Breakfast tea bag

Place vodka and tea bag in a jar.
Let stand at room temperature for 2 hours.
Discard the tea bag.
(Infused vodka can be kept covered at room temperature for up to 1 month).

Chapter Two
4 teaspoons honey
2 teaspoons of hot water
2 thyme sprigs
2 ounces tea infused vodka
Fresh lemon juice to taste

Mix the honey with the hot water to make a syrup.
Lightly muddle 1 of the thyme sprigs in a cocktail shaker.
Add ice, tea infused vodka, lemon juice, honey syrup.
Shake well. 
Strain into glass.  
Serve on ice.
Garnish with remaining thyme sprig.
