Iron Bridge

As a symbol of their everlasting love, couples have their names engraved on padlocks then clasp them to the railing of the Eiserner Steg, or Iron Bridge, in Frankfurt.

Me being the smart ass that I am, made sure to snap pictures of the most Euro names that I could find.

As well as the most confusing English that I could find.

Such hope. Such damp-eyed beauty. I want you Marie-Ange and Henri, and you Rolf and Gunilla, and you Nigel and Nigel, I want you all to make it. I don't want any of you to have to come back to the Eiserner Steg late at night with a hacksaw to remove the rusted evidence of an emotion that was once so innocent and bright.

Oh, Dani. Oh, Ryan. Oh, yes!. Make it last forever.
